Colony Tire Corporation in Summerville, South Carolina, is currently seeking a full-time Commercial Tire Technician. Prior Commercial Tire Technician experience is required for this position. Pay: $20-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Summary
The Commercial Tire Technician is responsible for the safe repair, replacement, and service of commercial tires on customer vehicles at Colony Tire locations, customer sites, and during roadside service calls, including along highways. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Additional duties may be assigned by management as business needs require.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and loud noise levels. Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, with regular exposure to heat and cold. The role frequently involves working with dirty or greasy parts and in awkward positions.
The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance or equipment as appropriate. Minor workplace injuries may occur; however, adherence to established safety practices significantly reduces the risk of serious injury.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent and/or related experience is preferred but not required.
