Atlantic Tire Distributors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our tire distribution warehouse team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods from suppliers to our warehouse and ultimately to our customers. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics processes within the tire industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of tires, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure proper storage practices to maintain product quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers and freight carriers to optimize shipping schedules and reduce transportation costs.
• Monitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issues that arise to maintain supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all logistics operations, including shipping manifests, invoices, and compliance records.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
• Assist in training new team members on logistics processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of tire distribution experience required.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
