Recruiting Coordinator - Atlantic Tire Distributors

Job Title: Recruiting Coordinator

Atlantic Tire Distributors located in Edenton, NC is currently seeking a full-time Recruiting Coordinator to join our team! Full benefit package offered, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) + Profit Sharing, paid holidays, vacation time, company paid life insurance, and short-term disability.

Summary: The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for facilitating and managing the recruitment process from start to finish. This includes coordinating interviews, maintaining candidate records, and providing a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 8a-5p, Monday - Friday (this is not a remote position)

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Interview Coordination:

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage interview logistics, including travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates.
  • Ensure all necessary pre-employment paperwork is complete.
  • Manage exit interviews and analyze the feedback to identify common themes and trends. Collaborate with management on implementing improvements based on the feedback.

2. Candidate Management:

  • Communicate with candidates regarding the status of their applications.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience by keeping them informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system to ensure all candidate information is up to date.

3. Administrative Support:

  • Assist with the preparation and posting of job advertisements on various job boards and websites.
  • Maintain accurate records of all recruiting activities and metrics.
  • Prepare reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for management review.

4. Onboarding Support:

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including coordination start dates and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Ensure new hires complete all necessary documentation and training.

5. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with hiring managers and HR to understand hiring needs and timelines.
  • Assist in developing and refining recruiting processes to improve efficiency.

6. Event Coordination:

  • Organize and attend career fairs, recruitment events, and networking sessions.
  • Represent the company at recruitment events and provide information to potential candidates.

7. Other Duties:

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a recruiting or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
